The Call Of The Dark Night

This was one of the first projects where I focused on UI. This module was to introduce the creative and practical process of how a User Interface is planned and developed I had to look at the process for developing frontend and heads-up display interfaces and user experiences for games. Explore design theories, interactivity, accessibility, rational navigation and interface psychology.

The aim of this module was to produce a working front, end and HUD interface for a themed game of our own choice. 

 

I decided to use the theme of 'Call Of Duty' because at the time these were the games I played the most.  

​

I enjoyed creating this piece of work although in the end I felt like I could have done things a lot differently as the gradients on the buttons weren't that appealing.

Wireframe

This was one of the very first wireframes I created.

My aim was to show how the pages would function and how they would be prototyped to go from page to page.

​

I feel this UI was simple and easy enough to navigate.
